It’s official y’all, summer comes to end September 22nd, and yeah.. we’re bummed about it. Hence our Summer Bummer playlist from last week. Even though we’re ugly crying, there are still plenty of things left to do before autumn begins. For those who live in Los Angeles, we put a little list together of activities you NEED to check out!
DAY TRIP
Take a trip to Temecula Valley and visit the wineries and vineyards. Here are a couple of our favs:

Make sure to try the White Cabernet, you’ll die for it. If you can schedule a tour to learn all about their specific grapes and how they extract their wine, you’ll become obsessed with learning more.

Okay, so you gotta go here and try the cheese boards – so good! And they offer sparkling wine flights, which is always a good idea.

SUMMER SEASONAL MENUS
Élephante is the new hot spot in Santa Monica that offers some of the tastiest Italian cuisine. Perfect for a nice dinner or to enjoy the lively atmosphere later on in the night! Get down!
Commissary at The Line in Koreatown is probably the coolest greenhouse you’ll have food at this summer. Surrounded by greenery and enjoying fresh grown goods is probably one of the best ways to to curb summer cravings before we enter fall.
The Butcher’s Daughter is a plant-based restaurant, cafe, juice bar and “vegetable slaughterhouse.” They chop, fillet and carve fresh produce into healthy vegetarian dishes and press them into pretty juices. If you haven’t been this summer, you gotta go.
What better way to milk summer than ice cream? Salt and Straw is probably the best ice cream around, the flavors here are insanely delicious and super seasonal! The year round flavors are delicious too but definitely take advantage of the season flavors while you can.
